Privacy policy — Edit and Save PDF for Android
Controller: Jesús Osvaldo Ramírez Guzmán (RaOs Software), individual, Mexico.
Contact: soporte@editandsavepdf.com
In short: your documents are processed only on your phone. The app does not use the internet, does not ask for an account, shows no ads and sends us no data.
1. Your documents never leave your phone
Edit and Save PDF opens, edits and saves PDFs on your device. The app has no permission to use the internet: it does not send your documents or their content to any server, ours or anyone else's.
2. We do not collect personal data
The app does not ask for an account or sign-up, shows no ads, uses no analytics or tracking tools and sends us no usage information.
3. What is stored on your phone (and only there)
- The handwritten signatures you save to use again.
- Your chosen language and the start date of the free trial.
- A working copy of the open document, only if the app goes to the background with unsaved changes, so you can recover them. It is deleted when you save or discard.
- A technical log (Diagnostics) with timings and errors, without the content of your documents. It only leaves the phone if you copy or save it and send it to us.
All of this is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
4. Purchases
The purchase of the full version is processed by Google Play with your Google account, under Google's privacy policy. We do not receive your payment details. Google Play gives the app a signed purchase receipt, which the app verifies and stores on the phone; that receipt is not sent to us.
5. Permissions
com.android.vending.BILLING: to communicate with the Google Play app for the purchase.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: added by Google's billing library to know whether there is a connection when purchasing. It does not allow internet use.
The app does not ask for access to all your files: you choose each document with the Android picker.
6. Support
If you write to us, we will use your email and what you send only to handle your request.
7. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, we will publish the new version on this page with its date.
For the website and the Windows program, see the privacy notice.
